I have been friends with the Bauman family for about as long as I have lived in Oregon. I love them. 🙂 I volunteer with Anne (Jen’s mom) every Friday morning. Even though I don’t see Jennifer as much as I see the other family members I followed her life story through college, jobs and moving. When Anne told me she got engaged I was so excited for her and even more excited that they asked me to be their photographer. I get to document their relationship starting with their engagement photos, their wedding in June and they asked me to travel with them for three months across Europe and document their entire trip!! You can pick your jaw up off the floor….I was kidding about the Europe trip. I did mention that I would have know problem going with them if they did want a photographer. Maybe I can convince them by June. It was such a pleasure to meet Erik and see the two interact together with such love, tenderness and silliness. These two were a lot of fun to photograph. We started out at Coffee Time on NW 21st and walked around using the old buildings and brick walls as our backdrop. Towards the end of the session we found some leaves to play in. It was such a fun session and I am looking forward to their wedding! …And then maybe maternity and newborn photos. I think Anne wants to be a grandma (wink-wink, Anne.)
Jennifer and Erik it was a pleasure working with you and documenting this special time in your life. I can’t wait for the wedding. Congratulations! Enjoy the photos.
