Miss Madeleine is a beautiful, intelligent young lady who will be a senior at the International School of Beaverton (or ISB) this year. In fact, her senior year is about to start in t-minus five days. She was telling me about her class schedule and how she had homework over the summer for her classes. That’s dedication, my friends! On our drive into the city, we talked about where she wanted to go to school and what she wanted to study. Madeleine said it’s a scary question and she’s not quite sure. I explained to her how normal that is and even if she did know- she’d probably change her mind a few times while in school. At the moment, she is leaning towards marine biology. Studying anything around water would fit her personality since she loves to swim. No, I wasn’t her coach. But we did compete against her team. Madeleine swam at Southridge high school her first few years. Now she is involved with the social media club, Chinese national honor society, and science national honor society.
We had a great time taking her senior photos in downtown Portland and out in the nearby countryside. I warned Madeleine that for some reason whenever I take photos downtown, people always like to stop and chat. She might have had a few visitors and even one photo bomber. Madeleine- if you can’t decide where to attend college, I think that man was serious about his offer to teach you for one million dollars. 😉
Madeleine, it was a pleasure to get to know you. Thank you for asking me to do your senior portraits. I wish you the best of luck in your final high school year and I wish you a lifetime of success and happiness in whatever may come your way. I know you’ll do great things. Enjoy the photos.
