Love this kid… love this family… love these photos. I really enjoyed bringing out Klee’s personality and uniqueness during his senior session. Klee is an awesome guy- an athlete (water polo and swimming), an artist (see the ring on his finger? he made that!) a great student and just a one-of-kind person who I have no doubt will go on to do amazing things. I’ve had the pleasure of being his assistant swim coach and it’s been wonderful to watch him grow into the amazing adult he is now.
We started out in Forest Park taking advantage of the morning light. Klee and his dad and brother do a lot of back packing in the summer and I thought a few forest shots would be great. After our walk in the woods Klee and I headed down to the Max tunnel underneath the zoo. I told Klee when I was a senior it was cool to get photos done on train tracks (in sepia tone- who’s with me?). I did not think I would ever take senior photos on train tracks, but I was wrong. I think these are more gritty… and no sepia tone. After our adventures in the tunnel we headed to inner SE Portland and found some killer spots to finish off Klee’s session.
Klee- it was a pleasure to do be your senior portrait photographer and your coach. I’ve always enjoyed my time with you and you’ll greatly be missed next year. (No more Dorns?!! What are we going to do?) I wish you the best of luck in your last water polo and swimming seasons and your last year in high school. I know you’ll do amazing in college. Best of luck in all your endeavors. I hope you enjoy the photos.
