Portland Senior Photographer- Malia

Tell me what you see in every photo?  Her eyes, right?  Well hopefully because that’s all I saw while I was photographing this gorgeous senior.   Too be honest I wasn’t going to post this photo session.  My session with Malia is not complete and I usually wait to post a blog until the entire shoot is finished.  Malia has some wonderful ideas for her senior photos but we can’t do them until it gets a little warmer outside… the clock is ticking for yearbook images though so we did what I call a “glorified headshot” session.  These “head shots” turned out to be a lot of fun and she simply looks amazing.  I got so excited looking through the images that I couldn’t help but edit and play and before I know it I was like “I have to post these now.”   I will say that I definitely played with my edits on these shots…I typically don’t do a lot of different color tones but I thought it added some edginess to the photos.  Malia is a strong, independent woman (she even drives a motorcycle boys) so she needed some edgy senior photos.  It was fun playing, I don’t do it very often (so thanks for the inspiration girl.)  Malia- I’m sorry you froze your buns off during this shoot, I hope it was worth it.  I can’t wait for our next session.  Enjoy.

Kathy Holcomb - Wow!! I love them all. How could you choose one or even two? Malia has a very classic diverse look to her. Just a beautiful confident beauty. Inside and out. My two favorites are the one below the tree picture then the one directly below that one. Compliments to the photographer. I want one!
