Nina wanted a city session for her senior photos. We made a quick stop at the Audubon Center for a few woodsy shots and then we made our way down into the Pearl District. Nina was a blast to photograph and my shutter went crazy every time she laughed. Everyone can laugh but not everyone will get wet! I was taking shots of Nina at Jaimeson Park and her mom mentioned that she should sit in the water. There was zero hesitation. In hind sight it doesn’t surprise me- swimmers LOVE the water even if they are clothed. We had a lot of fun at the end of our shoot playing in water, which I think was perfect because it’s where Nina feels at home (even if it was missing lane lines and chlorine).
Nina- it’s been a pleasure watching you swim and being your “coach” 😉 There has been a “Stitt” swimming for Sunset since I started and after you graduate I can say that you and your entire family will be missed. I wish you the best of luck with your senior year, your last high school swim season and all of your life endeavors. I hope you enjoy the photos.
If you want to see Nina in her element check out these photos from the OSAA State Championship meet last winter. Ya girl!
