{Personal} Seattle

Typically when I think of photographing a city and trying to capture its essence I lean towards photographing the people.  I know I could have focused on the city scape, the architecture, the space needle, and the  Puget Sound to describe Seattle.  I wanted to do a little different take on the Emerald City.  Well, okay, to be honest I wasn’t really set-up to do an actual full-on photo shoot of Seattle.  That would take probably at least a full day, if not a full weekend.  What I had was about one hour Sunday morning…when really not a lot is going on nor are there a lot of people out.  However the few people I did come across made my photographs and I think described the city better than any city-scape shot could do.  I did do something typical though for my short Seattle shoot- I visited Pike Place Market…and the infamous”Gum Wall.”  I will definitely put Seattle on my “do-again” list so that I can spend an entire day capturing the wet city on a hill.  Enjoy Week 40!
